Welcome to High Spen's Organic Community Allotment
We're a growing project in Gateshead set up to share skills and local, naturally produced fruit and vegetables
We meet every Thursday from 10am during the main growing season (April-October) and also on the 2nd Sunday of every month from 2-3.30pm so if you would like to find out more about growing organically in a sociable, friendly location, why not come along?
Regular volunteers receive free fruit and veg in exchange for their work, which is even more reason to join us!
The Hop Garden is normally open for visitors Friday to Sunday from 10.30am until 4pm (April until October) and at other times by arrangement.
